The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Kersey. About 3:05 p.m Wednesday, the Colorado State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision on Weld County Road 61, south of Weld 380, in Kersey. An International semi with a trailer driven by a 32-year-old man was traveling north on Weld 61, just south of the Weld 380, preparing to turn left into a private driveway, according to CSP. As the semi turned left, a 1991 Ford Explorer, driven by a 33-year-old Thorton man with a 29-year-old Greeley woman passenger, attempted to pass on the left.
